WORKS
Celia Birtwell - Ecommerce Website, Design and Development
One of the most iconic British textile designers, Celia Birtwell's online shopping site.
Muse of David Hockney and partner of Ossie Clark, Celia Birtwell is and was the most important textile designer of her generation.
Celia Birwell brand used to be focusing on home and interior sector since 1980s. But in recent years, they have been licensing their designs to more broader range of manufacturers and retailers including Top Shop, Boots and John Lewis. They have also started their own vintage range of Celia Birtwell and Ossie Clark collections in October 2010.
One of the most important aims of the new website was to represent the broader image of the brand. To visualise that, we had a lot of design consultations during the interface design phase and developed the new look for the brand through the web interface.
This website is based on a full CMS and a shopping cart application, so the client is able to manage the site contents and products themselves.
Red Monkey - Branding / Art Direction / Website
Red Monkey is a contemporary Japanese lounge, dining and private karaoke bar in Clapham, south London. Tamassy was commissioned to do the whole branding of the venue and we designed the logo, sign, original posters, food and drink menus, business cards and a digital wallpaper for the interior.
We came up with the idea of featuring Japanese 60s and 70s style designs especially influenced by the films and music of that era. The owner's intention to avoid
the "over-oriental" or "over-typical" Japanese designs was successfully implemented into the branding thanks for the "real" Japanese designers' input.
We also designed and developed the funky website with full content management system.
The venue was launched in March 2010 and it has soon become one of the popular bars in Clapham.

The 201 ambassadors and 9 associates of each will all have their own blog page on the site and run their original fund raising with it. Tamassy designed and developed the whole system using one of the most popular CMS platform WordPress and its social network version WordPress Mu.
